Ports & Harbors - About The International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH) has served the global port industry for over 50 years, since its founding in November 1955, and its official journal, Ports & Harbors, has been published for the same amount of time.
But the magazine has a wider constituency than just IAPH members: it also serves the world maritime community at large as the key medium for exchanging views and information about the issues faced by the world port industry.
The magazine has always reflected the associations motto: World Peace Through World Trade World Trade Through World Ports. Its constitution underlines the point: IAPH is committed to "promoting peace in the world and the welfare of mankind" as its ultimate goal. |
