As the doors closed on SASMEX 2007 it was already being heralded as a great success.
Visitors to the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel were presented with an array of exhibits from all over the international maritime community in the main exhibition hall while Delegates to the seminar programme were treated to a first-class series of presentations from leading industry experts.
One of the highlights of the event was the inaugural Safety at Sea International Awards Dinner and such was the excitement generated that this looks set to become a regular feature of the industry calendar.
